The campus community still has time to purchase tickets to hear Pittsburgh oldies music legend Johnny Angel at Swingin with an Angel, the United Way benefit concert scheduled for Monday, Oct. 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Power Center Ballroom.
Debbie Zugates, director of undergraduate admissions at Duquesne, will join Angel on stage for vocals. They will be accompanied by Swingtet 8, a big-band era group featuring five horns and a three-piece rhythm section.
Concert attendees can enjoy pre-show fun, discounted appetizers and specially priced drinks at the Red Ring Monday Happy Hour starting at 4:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased for $10 in advance online or in Room 305 of the Union or for $15 at the door at the concert. Ticket proceeds benefit the United Way.
