What have Drs. Alison Colbert, Domenic Leo, Kathy Sekula and John Stolz been up to?
Dr. Alison Colbert, associate professor and associate dean for academic affairs in the School of Nursing, has been named associate editor of the Journal of Forensic Nursing. She has served on the journal’s editorial board for the past three years.
Dr. Domenic Leo, adjunct assistant professor of art history, delivered the presentation John the Baptist and the Holy Family in Art History, on Dec. 2 at St. Frances Cabrini Church in Beaver County.
Dr. Kathy Sekula, professor of nursing, has been elected to the International Association of Forensic Nurses Board of Directors. The organization has more than 3,000 members who practice and support forensic nursing.
Dr. John Stolz, microbiology professor and director of Duquesne’s Center for Environmental Research and Education, mentored environmental science management students Tyler Umstead and Jenna Kuhn, who presented at a student environmental symposium at Westminster College on Dec. 3.
