- Dr. Jennifer Elliott, associate professor, School of Pharmacy, $102,000, from Jefferson Regional Foundation, for surveillance and treatment of asthma in Clairton schoolchildren. This brings the total award to $177,000.
- Dr. Fatiha Benmokhtar, assistant professor, Department of Physics, $16,960.72, a subcontract award, from Jefferson Laboratory, for a project that is looking at the commissioning and calibration procedures of the CLAS12 RICH detector. This brings the total award to $63,888.69.
- Dr. John Stolz, professor, Department of Biological Sciences, $124,700, from the Colcom Foundation, for Expanded Surveying of Well Water Quality in Western Pennsylvania in Areas With Unconventional Gas Drilling. The funding extends through July 31, 2017.
