To promote both the physical and mental well-being of the campus community, Duquesne will introduce two additional classes this spring as pat of the Wellness in Motion initiative.
A new, four-week mediation series—designed to explore different styles of meditation and mindfulness techniques—will be held on consecutive Thursdays starting tomorrow, March 16, and concluding April 6.
Sponsored by the University Counseling and Wellbeing Center, each half-hour class will be held at 12:15 p.m. at the center’s Interfaith Meditation Room located in Room 637 of Fisher Hall.
Employees who wish to develop an individual free-weight program can attend Free Weights 101 on Thursday, April 6, from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. on the second floor of the Power Center, during which they will tour the facility.
The series and free-weight classes are free and open to University employees.
