Funds totaling $268,722 were recently received by the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences (BSNES), the Learning Skills Center and facilities management.
- Dr. Fatiha Benmokhtar, assistant physics professor, BSNES, $61,000, from the National Science Foundation, for RUI: Studies of Parton Distributions Using Kaons at Jefferson Lab.
- The Learning Skills Center, $7,722, from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, for the Program for Academic Excellence. Dr. Judith Griggs, director of the Learning Skills Center, will administer the award.
- Mark Minoski, facilities management, $200,000, from the Pennsylvania department of Community and Economic Development, for the Forbes Ave. streetscape project.
