Join the Duquesne Red Masquers for their first show of the fall 2017 season, the family-friendly musical Orphie and the Book of Heroes.
The play tells the story of Orphie, a young girl in ancient Greece who sets out to save storyteller Homer and his Book of Heroes. Orphie and the Book of Heroes features music by Michael Kooman, and the book and lyrics by Duquesne alumnus Christopher Dimond.
Orphie and the Book of Heroes will run Thursday, Sept. 28, through Sunday, Oct. 15. Evening performances are at 8 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, with 2 p.m. matinees Saturday and Sunday in the Genesius Theater.
