Continuing a tradition that began in 1925, Duquesne’s School of Pharmacy will graduate 185 students at its annual Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 19, at 10:30 a.m. in the A.J. Palumbo Center. University Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Timothy Austin will confer the degrees at the ceremony.

Dr. Nancy Huff
Duquesne alumna Dr. Nancy Huff, the director of pharmacy at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Mass., will deliver the Commencement address. A 1984 graduate of the School of Pharmacy post baccalaureate Pharm.D. program, Dr. Huff is a highly respected hospital administrator and educator in the New England region. She is an assistant clinical professor at Northeastern University and an adjunct assistant professor at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Before joining Lahey, she served as a pharmacy director for various hospitals and medical centers.
The School of Pharmacy Commencement ceremony will be preceded by an 8 a.m. Mass that will be held in the Chapel.
