Veterans and their families can learn about local services and resources at the Veterans Resource Fair and Symposium this Sunday, Sept. 29, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Power Center Ballroom.
Free and open to the public, the event is co-hosted by state Rep. Sara Innamorato, state Rep. Jake Wheatley, the University’s Office for Military and Veteran Students and the Duquesne’s Political Science Club.
A 2 p.m. panel discussion and question-and-answer session will feature state senators and representatives, a VA healthcare system representative and the Allegheny County director of veterans affairs.
