Local and state higher education professionals will gather on campus later this month for the Greater Pittsburgh Higher Education Diversity Consortium’s fourth annual Professional Development Conference, Survivor: D&I—the Politics and Policy of Identity.
The conference will be held Monday, Nov. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Charles J. Dougherty Ballroom. It is open to all higher education professionals and community members with an interest in diversity spaces of higher education in Pennsylvania.
A higher education leader keynote will kick off the conference followed by workshops that showcase diversity and inclusion research and practice. The conference also will feature a panel on campus disaster communication. Lunch will be provided.
