The Human Rights Film Series concludes next week with a pair of films highlighting the role politics can play in critical human rights issues.
Invisible Hand will screen Monday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m., in room 104 College Hall. The film, produced by award-winning actor Mark Ruffalo, is the world’s first documentary about the creation of ‘Rights of Nature,’ described as the defining battle of our times where nature, democracy and capitalism face off in rural America.
The Silence of Others will screen Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m., in room 104 College Hall. The film reveals the epic struggle of victims during Spain’s 40-year dictatorship under General Francisco Franco.
