As Duquesne remains open and operational and continues to provide the best services possible during circumstances resulting from the Coronavirus/COVID-19, the Title IX office has subsequently adjusted its procedures.

All members of the University community are encouraged to continue to access the Title IX office for issues of sexual misconduct or gender discrimination. The office remains open to receive and process new reports, and all current investigations are continuing. All meetings are being held via Zoom, and witnesses, complainants and respondents will be advised to ensure that they are in a private space for conversations.

Although the University has shifted some of its operations, the University community is reminded that TAP 31 continues to apply.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to report any violations—and are asked to encourage students to do the same—to Title IX Officer Lee Robbins at robbinsl1@duq.edu.

This link from the University’s Title IX website provides information about additional reporting resources, including information about confidential reporting options. Note that some resources may reflect modified hours or may be providing modified services at this time. Local hospitals continue to be available for medical care. Contact public safety at 412.396.2677 for on-campus emergencies, and call 911 for off-campus emergency matters.
