Women in STEM at Duquesne (WIS@DU) is offering travel awards for female students, postdoctoral fellows and early career faculty in STEM and health science fields. The first application deadline is Thursday, Oct. 15.
The program offers important opportunities for early-career, female scientists to present their research in regional, national and international forums and to network with scholars from around the world.
The awards of up to $500 for each recipient are available for Duquesne women presenting STEM research in oral or poster format at an in-person or virtual conference or professional meeting. The awards can also be used to attend virtual STEM conferences, professional meetings or workshops.
Applications are reviewed three times a year. For additional details and an application form, visit the Women in STEM site.
WIS@DU promotes and supports women in basic and applied sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics career paths at Duquesne.
