Hundreds of prospective students and their families will be on campus this weekend to visit and learn more about the University at the DUQ Days Fall Open House.
Duquesne’s Enrollment Management Group is hosting the free event Sunday, Sept, 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
University faculty and staff will be available to discuss Duquesne’s 85 undergraduate majors, research opportunities, financial aid, the Center for Excellence in Diversity and Student Inclusion, study abroad programs and more.
Guests also can connect with current students at a panel discussion on the unique college experience and horizon-expanding education that the University offers. Parent and alumni panels are also slated.
Visitors will also have an opportunity to take self-guided tours around campus and explore various academic buildings, the Power Recreation and Fitness Center, and the newly renovated UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse
University employees who aren’t scheduled to participate and want to experience the event are invited to stop by the DUQ Days Fall Open House.
A wide array of food, including several student-favorites, will be provided for guests to enjoy throughout the event.
