Reflecting Duquesne’s commitment to expand student horizons and provide valuable learning experiences, Women in STEM at Duquesne (WIS@DU) is offering travel awards for female students, postdoctoral fellows and early career faculty in STEM and health science fields. The first application deadline is Friday, Oct. 15.
Awards of up to $500 for each recipient are available for Duquesne women presenting STEM research in oral or poster format at an in-person or virtual conference or professional meeting. The awards also can be used to attend virtual STEM conferences, professional meetings or workshops.
The WIS@DU travel awards provide valuable opportunities for early-career female scientists to present their research in regional, national and international forums and to network with scholars from around the world.
Applications are reviewed three times a year. For additional details and an online application, visit the Women in STEM website.
