Tickets to Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers and Pirates games are among the items available for bid in the online segment of the Public Interest Law Association (PILA) Annual Auction. The online auction is available by visiting www.duq.edu/law/pilaauction.
The “live” segment of the PILA Auction will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, in the student lounge of the School of Law. It will feature silent and live auction items, a lottery tree, Basket of Cheer and 50/50 raffles, and more. Admission is $5 and includes dinner.
All proceeds from the auction will benefit PILA’s fund for Summer Public Interest Fellowships. A student organization in the School of Law, PILA works to increase awareness of public interest issues and to provide opportunities for students to gain experience in the public interest field.
