For the fifth time in seven years, the School of Nursing has been awarded a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to help students from underrepresented groups and disadvantaged backgrounds enter the nursing profession.
Five students enrolled in the school’s accelerated Second Degree BSN program—a one-year course of study for persons who have a baccalaureate degree in another field but wish to earn a bachelor’s in nursing—earned the scholarships.
