The final Rice on the Road Lecture Series event for 2015 will provide the University community with details regarding the positive, collaborative impact Duquesne University and FOCUS Pittsburgh have made on the community.

Trauma-Informed Community Development and Revitalization will be held on Tuesday, April 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Power Center Ballroom, with a reception to follow in the Shepperson Suite.

Over the last two years, collaboration between Duquesne University and FOCUS Pittsburgh has been instrumental in launching a free health clinic, including behavioral health treatment, and innovative scholarly approaches to community development.

At Trauma-Informed Community Development and Revitalization, representatives from Duquesne and FOCUS Pittsburgh will discuss the fruits of their collaboration, unveil new plans for nurturing community healing and revitalization, and share opportunities to join in this community-engaged work for social justice.
