Full-time faculty working in any academic discipline at Duquesne are reminded that preliminary proposals for the annual Paluse Faculty Research Grants are due Thursday, Nov. 18.
Sponsored by the Center for Catholic Faith and Culture, the grant program supports scholarly research that reflects the Catholic Spiritan mission and identity of Duquesne University.
Up to two $6,000 grants will be awarded this academic year. A University-wide funding opportunity, the Paluse grants at a minimum are intended to lead to publication in a reputable peer-reviewed journal.
Additional dates to remember include:
- Wednesday, Dec 15, 2021—Applications due
- Tuesday, Feb 1, 2022—Awards announced
- Wednesday, June 1, 2023—Report of project outcomes due.
For more information and to see examples of previously funded projects, visit the Grants and Awards and Application Guidelines pages.
Email Dr. Kathleen Glenister Roberts with any inquiries.
This funding opportunity is just one of the ways that Duquesne helps faculty realize bigger goals and further impact the horizon-expanding education they offer to students.
The Paluse Faculty Research Grant program is made possible from an endowment for the late Rev. Richard V. Paluse and sponsored by the Center for Catholic Faith and Culture.
