The power of storytelling will be captured by Dr. Don Marinelli on Tuesday, March 26, in the first session of the School of Leadership and Professional Advancement’s 10-part Leadership Breakfast Series. Marinelli co-founded Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center and retired from CMU as a professor of drama and arts management.

The importance and power of storytelling has been a topic of great interest for leaders. Marinelli, a Duquesne alumnus, will explore why storytelling is such a powerful tool and discuss how to structure a story for maximum impact and meaning in The Art and Science of Storytelling, from 8 to 10 a.m. in the Power Center Ballroom West.
A continental breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. The cost of each session in the Leadership Breakfast Series is $45. A discount is available for participants who register for five or more sessions.
